The Pedestrian is a puzzle platforming game with a twist. Players are challenged with connecting a series of tiles in a variety of ways to move a stick-man onto the next section
Currently available as free demo with a full release planned for later in 2017, The Pedestrian is an interesting title with a unique gameplay aspect. The player takes control of a protagonist who moves around a fully 3D world while the action takes place in 2D tiles. Connect tiles together in a variety of ways to enable the stick-man to move towards the exit and on to another puzzle. These puzzles can be completed in a number of separate ways, offering both an element of challenge and creative thinking. The difficulty ramps up in a satisfying way which never feels unfair. With the demo limited to around ten minutes, The Pedestrian appears to have a lot of potential after a successful Kickstarter.
To be seen
Thanks to the strong demo, The Pedestrian has the potential to be a really great game. The whole experience revolves around the puzzles which are thankfully the strongest aspect. With the demo available for free, it is worth checking out and keeping an eye on for the future full build.
